Your wedding photos might cost as much as other aspects of your big day, but know that they'll help you hold onto the memories of that day for decades to come.


It's important that every couple make their wedding photography a priority. In the same vein it's important that I help my clients navigate the increasingly complex process of planning their wedding. Be sure to ask me any questions you may have to help you understand how to prioritize wedding photos, even on a budget.

How much do you charge?

Different couples need different things, so it depends. My basic packages start at $1,000. I do have a price sheet available to view. Feel free to send me a message with the form below and you'll be able to view the 2016 price list now.

Will it be only you shooting my wedding?


Definitely not. While I will be your primary photographer for the day, I insist on having a second photographer with me for all weddings. This is helpful because I can't be in two places at once. Not only does a second shooter help get a shot I might miss, but they'll help me have a different angle or perspective.

How many photos will you take?

How many we take and how many you receive will differ (see "Will you deliver all of the images you take" section for more explanation on that).

Generally speaking, you'll receive at least 35 images after an engagement session, and for every hour of shooting we do on your day, you'll get at least 100 images. However these estimates are on the safe side; it's common to get many more.

Will you deliver all of the images you take?

I won’t deliver all of the images I take, and for good reason. Through the day we’ll encounter many complex situations for snapping the perfect image. For that reason, a portion of the photos we take will simply be test shots for lighting, focus, composition, etc. Other photos might have a silly facial expression or perhaps a portrait in which someone has their eyes closed. I’ll spend the hours it takes to wade through the massive amount of images to make sure you’re only getting the images that best represent your day and the memories you’ll cherish for years.

How long do I have to wait to see my photos?

It's difficult to give an exact amount of time, generally the most you'll wait is four weeks. I usually will pick out a few of my favorite images and post those online within 24 to 48 hours after your wedding. These are always fun to see and helps you celebrate your marriage with your friends on social media.

What exactly will I receive? RAW files?

While I do shoot in the RAW file format, you will not receive these file types. This is because they're to large to easily deliver/store, and they are not the final edited versions (they're unprocessed). The images you receive will be in the standard JPEG format. You will receive a "high-resolution" set of JPEG files that you can use to print large wall art as often as you'd like. You'll also receive a "low-resolution" set which are perfect for sharing on social media or emailing to a friend.

You'll be able to view the images as soon as they're edited with an online album. I'll also mail you a flash drive with the images on them, so you don't have to worry about downloading all of them.

Finally, if you pick a package that contains wall art. You'll receive that within 2 weeks after selecting which images you want used for the wall art.

Do you do engagement sessions?

Yes! All of my packages include an hour long engagement session. You might wonder when we should do the engagement session - as soon as possible. This is because it may take up to four weeks to receive the edited images from the engagement session (often this is completed sooner). Many couples will want to print a few images from that set to have at the wedding. This can be done for a signature mat around your favorite engagement photo, etc.

I prefer to schedule engagement sessions on weekdays, preferably about two hours prior to sunset. So if the sunset is going to occur at 8PM, I’ll prefer to schedule the start of our session hour at 6PM.

What needs to happen in order to book for my day?


The only things I require to have a reservation for your wedding are:

1.) A signed contract

2.) A deposit that totals half of your package. Note: the final payment will not be due until the week of your wedding.

The next step for you is to setup a time to meet with me. I can meet with just the bride, or feel free to bring your mother or fiancé too. We'll get to know each other, you can get a feel for what style I'll be able to deliver and I'll go over our contract in person to address any questions you may have. You can sign and pay your deposit at this meeting or take some time to think it over with your fiancé.

Do you offer video services?


While I do not offer video services, I've personally worked with some of the best of Baltimore's videographers. Please let me know if you're interested in videography, and I can answer most of your questions and absolutely guide you in the right direction.

Do I pay for hours of downtime on my wedding day?


The short answer is yes. As a wedding photographer, I often use the hours of downtime you might have to perform tasks such as traveling to and setting up lighting at the second location, taking indoor and outdoor venue shots, coordinating with other vendors, and usually taking more portraits or you and your family.

What happens if we go over the contracted time?

I'm going to help you prior to your wedding, to figure out how many hours you'll need so that it's unlikely that we'll need to go into overtime the day of.

In the event that we do, I'll make you aware during your reception when we've completed the contracted hours, and you can feel free to have me and my second shooter stick around longer. I do charge $100 extra per hour, rounded to 30-minute increments.

Who will own the images? How does licensing work?

All of the images will be owned and copyrighted by me. With that being said, you’ll always receive a signed rights waiver that will give you unhindered personal use of every image that’s delivered to you. That means that you can post online without watermarks, and you can feel free to print your own photos, wall art, etc, for as long as you like.
